Value Added Programs

The Value Added Program aims to provide an additional learner centric skill oriented technical training, with the primary objective of improving the employability skills of engineering students. The main objectives of the program are:

  • To provide students an understanding of the expectations of industry.
  • To bridge the skill gaps and make students industry ready.
  • To provide an opportunity to students to develop inter-disciplinary skills.

PLC , SCADA & HMI

PLC is mainly used in the automated industries or plants or process, the actual processes handled and controlled by the controllers which are nothing but the programming logic controllers that means PLC plays a very important role in automation sector.

The following modules are covered in PLC, SCADA & HMI course,

  • Basic Electrical & Electronic Components, Soft wiring concepts & Hard Wiring Concepts.
  • Types and Architecture of PLC, Creating Ladder logic Program.
  • Integration of SCADA System, Interfacing Sensors and nodal analog points for data retrieval, control logics.
  • Integration of HMI with PLC, Configuring HMI, Analog and digital logic creation for HMI & Uploading and downloading of logics.

MATLAB

MATLAB is a widely used tool in engineering fields such as process control industries, medical instrument industry etc MATLAB is a high-performance language for technical computing. It integrates computation, visualization, and programming in an easy-to-use environment where problems and solutions are expressed in familiar mathematical notation.

The following modules are covered in MATLAB course,

MODELLING PRACTICE FOR AUTOMATION ASSEMBLIES

CAD/CAM automation software has a game changer in the manufacturing industry which in further helps companies to maximise their production efficiency. The integration of assembly sequence generation methods with computer aided design environment ensures more correctness and flexibility to automate the process.
