• A Guest Lecture on “Career Opportunities in Armed Forces” was delivered by Anto and Lt.Esan, Director – Center for Career in Uniformed Services (CCUS) on 21/1/15.
• A Guest Lecture on “PCB Designing & Manufacturing” was delivered by Mr.S.Sundharamoorthy, Managing Director, Sunshiv Electronic Solutions, Coimbatore on 11/3/2015.
• A Guest Lecture on “Higher Education in Germany” was arranged on 11/2/15 and Ms.Mary Jancy, Europe Study Center, Coimbatore delivered the lecture.
• A Guest Lecture on “Higher Studies in USA” was delivered by Mrs. Shanthi Mohan,Coordinator, USA Education on 17/10/2015.
• Students participated in a series of seminar and interactive sessions conducted in association with the event “INDUSTRY FOCUS-2015- Step Into Corporate” from 3/7/15 to 4/7/15.
• A Guest Lecture on “INDUSTRY FOCUS 2016” was organized by the Department on 22/10/16. The Chief Guest of the programme was Mr. Stanley George, HR Manager, Hexaware Technologies, Chennai.
• A Guest Lecture on “INDUSTRY FOCUS 2016” was organized by the Department on 19/11/16. The Chief Guest of the programme was Mr.Rajendra Prasad Yadav, Hewlett Packard,Chennai.

IETE

On 14/9/13, an IETE sponsored seminar on “Sampling Theorem and DT Signals and Systems” was organized. The seminar was presented by Prof.S.Satheeskumaresen, Associate Professor, Karpagam College of engineering, Coimbatore.

The department organized an IETE sponsored National level Seminar on “Fundamentals of Soft Computing Techniques” from 8/11/15 to 9/11/15.

IEEE STUDENT BRANCH 2015-2016″ was inaugurated on 3/8/15 by Dr.N.Alamelu, Chair,IEEE Madras Section, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore and Mr.V.Karthikeyan, Project Manager, Pricol Technology Ltd.IEEE members of the department attended the “IEEE Spectrum Discussion” conducted by IEEE Student Branch- Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology,Coimbatore on 9/7/15, 6/8/15 and 20/8/15 Respectively.
