When a person graduates, it signifies the move from a previous form of existence to a more mature being. As this mature is progressing, many people come to the revelation that a graduation can be life changing. The simple marker or two phases helps to tie different parts of a life together with a common remembrance. Graduation is not just an end, it is a new beginning; the start of a new chapter in one’s life whether it be another school year, or the entry into the workforce. Graduation help people remember the things accomplished in the past, as well as to look forward to the future. When people think of graduation they remember friends and family made or seen (respectively) throughout that time period; they think of the honors they achieved, and the many ways that those honors will help them to pursue future opportunity.

9th Graduation Day on 16.10.2022

The 9th Graduation Day was conducted for the UG 2014-2018 Batch and PG 2016-2018 Batch on 30.08.2019 in the campus. The Hon’ble Chief Guest of the progamme was Dr. V.Veerappan, Co Founder & President, Tessolve Semiconductor Pvt Ltd. Chennai. Chairman Thiru T.Subramaniyan declared the graduation ceremony open. Principal Dr.K.Sivasankari delivered the welcome address and presented a report of the college activities.

6th Graduation Day on 03.09.2019

The 6th Graduation Day was conducted for the UG 2014-2018 Batch and PG 2016-2018 Batch on 30.08.2019 in the campus. The Hon’ble Chief Guest of the progamme was Mr. Ramesh Kumar Mahadevan, Founder – Chief financial and Operating Officer, eNoah iSolution India Pvt Ltd, Chennai. Chairman Thiru T.Subramaniyan declared the graduation ceremony open. Principal Dr.J.Jaya delivered the welcome address and presented a report of the college activities.

The Chief Guest, in his address, appreciated the parents and teachers for their support in creating eminent professionals and also stressed that the education should be carried out with a clear focus and discipline to develop the corporate environment. He stated that Leadership, Passion and Hard work are the important key factors for engineers to become an entrepreneur. He stressed on the dictum “No Pain No Gain” and also explained that discipline plays a major role to excel in life.He alluded that students must accept challenges for their career development. He proposed that the student to be a brand ambassador of the institution and to take a huge responsibility for the welfare of society. The Chief Guest was glad about the institution, that it imparts knowledge added with moral virtues and imposes a good and heal their life for the students, to shoulder the responsibilities with vigorous strength and capabilities.

He appreciated Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology as a combination of excellence and variety, which gives students a platform to make their dreams come true. The candidates were presented by the Head of the Departments. Advisor Dr.R.Joseph Xavier administered the Pledge. The candidates took an oath that they shall discharge their duties in their profession and shall uphold the dignity and integrity of their profession and the honor of the university. As the Proceedings concluded, the Principal dissolved the Graduation Ceremony. Totally, 246 students received their Bachelors and Masters Degree in Engineering stream. This includes 5 Anna University Ranks. Ms.Rajalakshmi.S and Mr.Vijayakumar.N of B.E- Mechatronics Engineering has secured 2nd and 12th rank, Ms.Sowndarya.F of M.E Structural Engineering has secured 40th rank , Ms.Sivaranjani.R of B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering has secured 43rd rank and Mr.Arunkumar P has secured 46th rank. Award of Rs.25,000 is presented to the Rank holders by Akshaya Charitable Trust.

5th Graduation Day on 18.11.2018

The 5th Graduation Day was conducted for the UG 2013-2017 Batch and PG 2015-2017 Batch on 18.11.2018 in the campus. The Hon’ble Chief Guest of the progamme was Thiru. Stanley George, Head HR-South India, Hexaware Technologies Ltd. Principal Dr.J.Jaya declared the graduation ceremony open. She also delivered the welcome address and presented the report of college activities.

The Hon’ble Chief Guest,in his address, appreciated the teachers for their support in creating eminent professionals. He also expressed that Courage, Passion and Hard work are the important key factors for engineers to design the modern world.

The Chief Guest was glad about the institution, that it imparts knowledge added with moral virtues and imposes a good and healthier life for the students, to shoulder the responsibilities with vigorous strength and capabilities.

The candidates were presented by the Head of the Departments. Director, Dr.K.Thanushkodi administered the Pledge. Vinay.D and Hemanth Raj.V of B.E- Mechatronics Engineering has secured 10th and 11th rank, Swathini.S of M.E Structural Engineering has secured 31st rank and Thenmozhi. M of M.E VLSI Design has secured 18th rank. Award of Rs.50,000 is presented to the Rank holders by Akshaya Charitable Trust.

4th Graduation Day on 15.10.2017

The 4th Graduation Day was conducted for the UG 2012-2016 batch and PG 2014-2016 batch on 15.10.2017. The Hon’ble Chief Guest of the progamme was Prof. Dr. E. Balagurusamy, M.E(Hons)., Ph.D.,D.Ed.,FIE.,FIETE.,CEng., Formerly, Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai; IT Advisor, Government of Andhra Pradesh; Member, Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi; Chairman, Consortium for Educational Communication, New Delhi, delivered the graduation address . In his address, he stressed that the education should be carried out with a clear focus and determination to make the country economically strong. He also expressed that competence, character, ethics, courage, creativity and ethics are the important attributes for an individual. He alluded that creativity and innovation is very important key factors for engineers to design the modern world. He propounded that loyalty and commitment with ethics and values is the prime vital for engineers.The Chief Guest was glad about the institution, that it imparts knowledge added with moral virtues and imposes a good and healthier life for the students, to shoulder the responsibilities and to face challenges in their day today affairs with vigorous strength and capabilities. Vishnushree.S of B.E- Electronics and Communication Engineering ranked 20thplace and received cash prize of Rs.25,000. Kaviya.S of B.E-Computer Science and Engineering ranked 36th place and received cash prize of Rs.10,000, Aravindh.B of M.E- CAD/CAM Engineering ranked 7th place and received cash prize of Rs.25,000, Sangeetha.S of M.E VLSI Design ranked 33rd place and received a cash prize of Rs.10,000, Roselin Mercy.M of M.E Computer Science and Engineering ranked 40th place and received a cash prize of Rs.10,000 , Divya.B, Lavanya.L and Mohammedrafi.I of M.E Structural Engineering ranked 31st, 33rd and 50th places and received a cash prize of Rs.10,000 each. Totally Rs.2,00,000 worth of cash prizes were awarded to these Rank Holders by Akshaya Charitable Trust.

2nd Graduation Day on 12.06.2015

The 2nd Graduation Day was conducted for the UG 2010-2014 Batch and PG 2012-2014 Batch on 12.06.2015. The Honourable Chief Guest of the programme Prof. Dr. M. RAJARAM, Ph.D, Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai, delivered the Graduation Address. In his address, he stressed that the education should be carried out with a clear focus, determination and discipline. He mentioned that teachers are encouraging and motivating the students to perform at optimum to achieve their end results.
Totally 280 students received their Degree, which included 14 Anna University Ranks. Soumya K S of B.E -Civil Engineering ranked 37th place and received cash prize of Rs.20,000, Umamaheswari S & Nanthini D of B.E Computer Science and Engineering ranked 12th & 49th place and received cash prize of Rs.1 lakh & 20,000 rupees respectively, Karthik M of B.E Mechanical Engineering ranked 16th place and received cash prize of Rs.1 lakh. Shilpa C, Veena Vijayan & Arun J S of M.E- Applied Electronics ranked 5th, 20th & 41th places and received cash prize of Rs.50,000, Rs.20,000 & Rs.20,000 respectively, Priyanka N, Gayathri A & Shree Divya R of M.E-Computer Science and Engineering ranked 18th, 37th & 48th places and received cash prize of Rs.20,000 each, Dhani Nanu, Nandhini P, Devi M, Mahalakshmi P of M.E- VLSI Design ranked 43rd, 45th, 47th & 48th places and received cash prize of Rs.20,000 each. Totally, Rs.5 lakh worth of cash awards were distributed to these Rank Holders by Akshaya Charitable Trust.

1st Graduation Day on 27.04.2014

The 1st Graduation Day was conducted for the 2009-2013 Batch on 27.4.2014. The Honourable Chief Guest of the programme, Prof. Dr. M. RAJARAM, Ph.D , Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai, delivered the Graduation Address. In his address, he stressed that education is important and one should use it for the good of the community and nation. The significant possession of every person is education, which sharpens the skills of every mankind to work on various spheres. Knowledge creation and dissemination is the main function of the education system, it is an important element in stimulating economic development. He insisted that Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology has taken up pioneering steps to impart curricular, co curricular education to student community in a focused manner, with the help of amiable team of dynamic and dedicated faculties. He was glad about the institution, that it imparts knowledge added with moral virtues and imposes a good and healthier life for the students, to shoulder the responsibilities and to face challenges in their day to day affairs with vigorous strength and capabilities. He appreciated that Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology maintains good discipline and ensures honest path producing many eligible graduates to hold posts in various national and international organizations.
Totally 168 students received their Bachelors and Masters Degree in Engineering stream. This included 4 University Ranks. G. Sandhiya, K. Nimisha and A. Shylaja of B.E -Electronics and Communication Engineering were ranked in the 39th , 45th & 49th places respectively and G.Uma Maheshwari of M.E- Computer Science and Engineering was ranked 25th place by Anna University.
