Tech Day

Providing creative platforms to exhibit and explore the talents of budding engineers has become the culture of the college. Tech Day, is one such In-House Project Contest, organized by our institution to provide a great platform for the students to bring forth their innovations. The major objective of the programme is to trigger the spirit of innovation and leadership in the student community, to generate awareness among the students about the importance of Technology, its utility for the overall development of the country and its benefit for mankind. The students are encouraged to expose their research thirst and to come up with real innovative ideas. Out of the three level of analysis: preliminary, semi-finals and finals, the displayed projects are selected and awarded based on Best Contribution to Society, Best Innovation and Best Concept Based Projects. Winners of Tech day are provided an International Flight Trip and runners are provided with a National Flight Trip.

TECH CONNECT 2015

In Tech Connect-2015, nearly 500 students participated from various Polytechnic Colleges from Tamil Nadu, and following activities were conducted. For the winners, Scholarships were given to pursue their B.E Degree in our institution and fee concession was given to all participants.

ABOUT TECH CONNECT

Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology, conducts a State Level Technical Symposium TECH CONNECT as a part of creating opportunities for the Polytechnic students. Every year huge number of students from various Polytechnic colleges show up with keen interest to participate in the event.

Students from multiple disciplines from in and around the state join to share new knowledge in the field of Engineering. TECH CONNECT is a grand success as the students are able to eminently benefit out of the events conducted. It is a proud moment for the institution as well, since the participants are being exposed with a great avenue to execute their innovative explorations. The winners are emboldened with cash awards, certificates and trophies.

TECH CONNECT 2014

In Tech Connect-2014, nearly 450 students participated from various Polytechnic Colleges in Tamil Nadu, and following activities were conducted. For the winners, Scholarships were given to pursue their B.E Degree in our Institution.
