At Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology, the Student Leadership Council represents the student community. The Leadership Council is a key player in the reformation of institutions decision-making process that impacts the student group.

All policies, plans, procedural changes, and projects are ideated and brainstormed by the Leadership Council. The council, which is student-run and represents the student body at ACET, is chosen via a rigorous procedure in order to hear complaints from students and carry out sensible suggestions. By cultivating leadership qualities and promoting involvement, the council enables students the authority to direct their own academic and extracurricular engagement.
