Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology

The Anti-Drug Club (ADC) of Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology is dedicated to creating awareness about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse and promoting a healthy, drug-free campus.

The club organizes awareness programmes. It works in collaboration with the College Counselling Cell, Discipline Committee, the Tamil Nadu Police Department, Government agencies, NGOs, and De-Addiction Centres to provide guidance, counselling, and support to students.

Through these initiatives, the Anti-Drug Club encourages students to adopt healthy lifestyles, make responsible choices, and contribute towards building a safe, disciplined, and drug-free society.

OBJECTIVES OF ANTI – DRUG CLUB

To educate people about the physical, mental, social, and economic effects of drug addiction.
To prevent drug abuse among students and young people.
To encourage healthy habits and positive activities.
To organize awareness programmes, rallies, seminars, and campaigns against drug use.
