The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cybersecurity) is established in 2026 with an annual intake of 30 students, aiming to meet the increasing demand for skilled professionals in information security and cyber defense. The programme emphasizes strong theoretical foundations, hands-on practical training, and exposure to contemporary tools and technologies in Cybersecurity. It aims to equip students with the ability to identify vulnerabilities, analyze threats, and design secure computing systems.
With a well-structured curriculum focusing on network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, digital forensics, cloud security, and security operations, faculty expertise and industry-relevant training, the department aims to prepare students to meet challenges in Cybersecurity and contribute to the development of a secure and resilient digital society.
